Again, disaster strikes in the Asia area. Indonesia was hit by an earthquake and the Marine Corps is fast at work to provide aid once again. We were told at midnight to go to work and begin the long process of pulling out tents and cots ( basic military beds ) and inventorying them to make sure they are good to be shipped out. We stayed out there pulling out large crates and moving heavy tents til around 3 in the morning. By the time we go home to the barracks, we were bushed, not to metion that we were ill-fated to learn that the next morning we were going in again to finish the job. So after our 3 hours of sleep, we were out once again. We got alot done, but it was a painful process due to the fact that…well, I just rather not say due to me getting into alot of drama, but believe me, I will spill the beans soon.

Those of us that were oldies to the shop remember the last time we did this and we are praying it isn’t like last time. I don’t know how I would feel if I realized that all this work is for waste onces again due to higer commands planning. I’d write some more, but I’m tired. Sorry. I can’t explain how tired I am, but after putting out 110% I’m 110% exhausted. The only thing that drives me besides my tattoo/life saying, “it could be worse”; is the fact that soon I will out of the Marine Corps ( 9 months ) and I’ll be able to spend everyday with Hiromi. I can’t wait but I do.
