howdy loyal readers, i am here for a few short moments. i’m just here to tell you that i am still trying to maintain this website. let me break down to you what has happen to me in the past few weeks…
alright, so we left okinawa all fine and dandy to Alaska. there, we waited, then left to MCAS Cherry Point, NC. There we got in some busses and went down to Jacksonville to Camp LeJeune. When we got here, it was such a big cluster fuck that we didn’t get to sleep til 1 in the morning. After this, we had classes and all sorts of problems arising. We managed to get ourselves fixed up and things started to run smoothly. Then out of no where, the unthinkable happens. My laptop, digital camera and brand new iPod get stolen out of my room. Its a long story and I care not to go into it. All I know is that my world has been turned upside down. I can’t think of what to do and what I am going to do in Iraq now. I guess the only thing to do is wait and save money and purchase a laptop ( a stock one ) and a digital camera when I’m out there in the sandbox. Will I have time? Maybe. Will they be of good brand? Probably not. This has complelelty screwed up all my plans and has turned this deployment into a hell already. And we haven’t even left. Well, in any case, I plan to fight through it like I have with all the other situations in my life. sigh…i just wish this didn’t happen, because now i feel shitty. i’ll try to keep ya’ll posted on more events later…until then, bi.

On a lighter note it’s good to hear you’re in one piece, send me an email if you can, I want to talk to you before we both leave. I forget what your boarder jumping spic voice sounds like :-p Take care bro!

haha, Greg, just drop me a line at christopher.luna -at- gmail and I can get a friend to lend me a cell phone and I’ll hit you up. Also, see if you can help me with this. I want to purchase a new laptop for Iraq ( that is if my old one doesn’t turn up ) and I want it to be just as powerful as the old one. I am going to get alot of money when I return from 29 Palms so I have 4-5 weeks to wait and shop. Tell me if you see anything out there that is decent enough…Thanks bro!

Damn Chris, that fucking sucks! Although I know ALL Marines aren’t you know.. Truthful ‘n shit.. But anyway, guess what?! My SSgt hooked me up with another referral, so now im PFC! Cool shit, but now I feel I have to work extra hard because I haven’t exactly been giving my school work 100%. But now i’m even more determined to give it my all. My SSgt was talkin about like heh, me making it on time to boot camp.. And I just felt bad, and now I got this motivation inside. So, hopefully im not too late to increase my rate of getting my credits. By the end of this week I should have 30 left, but the algebra class is going to kill me on the time portion. So anyway, good luck with everything over there. Drop me a line if you get time, ill be checkin here to read your crazy stories. oorah devil dog.

Luna,
I am so sorry for hear your laptop, cam, iPod have been stolen. It’s completely BS. But nothing worse will happen in there. Because bad lucks and possibilities have been stolen as well.
It’s nice to hear you are still updating here so I can come back to write some interesting entries sometimes.
Be safe!

Well, I was glad to hear from you after you left Okinawa, but not to hear that you got ripped off by a fellow Marine (I assume). It’s like, who’s side are you on, man? Sheesh.
If it’s any consolation, I know someone who was cleaned out of a laptop, camera, iPod, cell phone, passport, cash, and credit cards recently while abroad. That kind of shit just pisses me off.
Try to keep in touch nonetheless. I’m keeping an eye on you. Any word to/from Hiromi?
