the names Mini. iPod Mini yea, i went out of my way to the mac world and decided to finally get one of the “hip” and “cool” iPod Minis. its a silver 4GB one so it isn’t the top of the line model so i’ve heard but the price was right for me. i spent alot of money already on the deployment so i couldn’t get the spacious 30GBer which isn’t even a mini to begin with, so its ok; different type. its nice though. loud, just like i like it, but the extra features that makes is so great is exactly what makes it not so great in my eyes. i mean, contacts? what the hell maccies! i could careless, i got a cell phone for that. damn, in Japan, I have a cell phone for my mp3s to start with! the good thing about it is that you can search through music by certian variables, such as artist, title, or album, which is what big mp3 downloaders like myself need. hopefully when i’m in the states, i can get my gigs and gigs of mp3s priority air’ed to me. next, out of the box, you don’t get a DC or wall outlet charger. i have to use the usb cord to juice up this bugger. lame. besides the search and volume i get, it is nicely stylish and TWO! people have commented me on it. telling me i look 4 years younger and that i look like a real life web designer juckie who uses a Mac at home. all in all, i think its a good buy. hopefully it can prove itself through out the war. future post will tell us.
